cc can also stand for C compiler.
In the context of email or letter-writing, cc can also stand for carbon copy.
cc was the name given to the world's first cloned cat in 2001 (named because the cat was supposed to be a "carbon copy" of the original, though it was actually not identical to the donor due to some non-genetic traits).
