Comden and Green

Comden and Green was the writing duo of Betty Comden and Adolph Green. They wrote lyrics and books for musical stage plays, and lyrics and screenplays for movies. They worked with several musical collaborators, including Jule Styne and Leonard Bernstein.

Comden and Green's hits include the Broadway musicals On the Town[?], Wonderful Town[?], On the Twentieth Century[?], and Bells Are Ringing[?], and the musical films Singin' in the Rain and The Band Wagon.

Green died on October 24, 2002.
