Battle of Warsaw

The Battle of Warsaw was the deciding battle of the Polish-Soviet War[?].

It was fought between 13 and 25 August 1920, when the Red Army forces commanded by General Mikhail Tukhachevski[?] approached Warsaw and Modlin[?]. On 16 August Polish forces commanded by Jozef Pilsudski made a counter-attack from the south, forcing Soviet forces to withdraw to the Niemen River. Soviet losses were about 15,000 dead, 65,000 captured and 30,000 interned in Germany.
