Austrian Airlines

Austrian Airlines was founded on September 30, 1957. It took the airline 6 months to get up in the air, but on March 18 of 1958, Austrian Airlines made it's maiden flight, with a Vickers Viscount 779[?] taking off at 8:30 am Vienna local time towards London on that morning.

September 26, 1960 became the only dark day in the airline's history so far, when a Vickers Viscount 837[?] of the company attempting to land at Moscow crashed near the Russian city. 31 of the 37 people on board perished.

Austrian Airlines is today that country's international airline, and it flies to many destinations over Europe, North America, Asia major and the Middle East.
