Auburn

Auburn is the name of some places in the United States of America:

Other places called Auburn:

Most of these towns are named from Oliver Goldsmith's popular 18th century poem, "The Deserted Village", which begins:

Sweet Auburn! loveliest village of the plain,

The poem was about the village Athlone, Ireland[?], Goldsmith's childhood home. He lived in Lissoy Parsonage, which was also called Auburn.
