Asymmetrical relationship

An Asymmetrical relationship is a relationship[?] that is not symmetrical[?]; that is, it has a definite direction that cannot be reversed without changing its meaning. For instance, if A is the child of B, it cannot be said that B is the child of A. Asymmetrical relationships are useful in defining hierarchies.
