The way that
anarchists organise themselves is very important. Since anarchism is based on political decentralisation, certain ways of organising can be considered
anarchist, but others can't. Most anarchists reject the notion of oraganising into
political parties to engage in
electoral politics[?], since this is
indirect action, whereas anarchists advocate
direct action.
There are a number of anarchist groups. They often have little stability.
- Anarchist Party of Canada (Groucho Marxist) Was best known for hitting famous people with pies. Some of the people thus assulted "include U.S. president Jimmy Carter's brother Billy, as well as the federal opposition leader, Joe Clark, and future B.C. premier Bill Vander Zalm" from Globe & Mail (http://www.entartistes.ca/Globe27598). Another people they claim to have is include Eldridge Cleaver. The moto of the Anarchist Party of Canada was "vote with a pie". An additional motto was "The whole world Canada".
