Absolutely Fabulous

The plot Edina Monsoon (Saunders) and Patsy Stone (Lumley) are two out-of-place stuck-in-the-1970s substance-abusing ex-hippie Londoners who value style over substance. Saffron, Edina's daughter by a previous marriage, provides the voice of Monsoon and Stone's superego.

Remakes A US remake called Cybill was made 1995-1998 starring Cybill Shepard[?]. A remake called High Society was also made.

The original was deemed unsuitable for the more puritanical American television because of the drugs and alcohol content.
