Wortegem-Petegem

Wortegem-Petegem is a municipality located in the Belgian province of East Flanders. The municipality comprises the towns of Elsegem[?], Moregem[?], Ooike[?], Petegem[?] and Wortegem[?]. On January 1st, 2000 Wortegem-Petegem had a total population of 6,071 (2,999 males and 3,072 females). The total area is 42.99 km² which gives a population density of 141.22 inhabitants per km².
