WorldFish Center

The WorldFish Center (originally International Center for Living Aquatic Resources Management or ICLARM) is an international research center specializing in fisheries[?] and related aquatic resources. Much of its work is focused on ways to promote sustainable usage of fish as a food source in developing countries.

It started as a program of the University of Hawaii[?] in 1975, supported by the Rockefeller Foundation, then was incorporated in the Philippines in 1977.

The center is a key sponsor of FishBase.
