Willem Frederik Hermans

Willem Frederik Hermans (1921-1995) was a Dutch author and is one of the Big Three Writers (Mulisch, Reve and Hermans) of Dutch literature after the Second World War.

His work includes novels, short stories, essays and philosophical and scientifical works.

He was born in Amsterdam on September 1, 1921 and died on April 27, 1995 in a hospital in Utrecht.
