Wieringen

Wieringen (population: 8,398) is a municipality in the north-western Netherlands, in the province of North Holland. The municipality covers an area of 211.60 km² (of which 185.11 km² water).

The municipality of Wieringen consists the following towns, villages and townships: Dam, De Haukes[?], De Hoelm[?], Den Oever[?], Hippolytushoef[?], Hollebalg[?], Noordburen[?], Oosterklief[?], Oosterland[?], Smerp[?], Stroe[?], Vatrop[?], Westerklief[?], Westerland[?].
