Web comic

A Web comic is a comic strip that exists and is published only on the World Wide Web, rather than one that is created primarily for a newspaper or magazine. Some successful web comics have subsequently been reprinted in book-length collections, just as a successful print comic might be. One popular form of web comic is the sprite comic.
