Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 890 people, 363 households, and 197 families residing in the city. The population density is 357.9/km² (929.3/mi²). The racial makeup of the city is 97.19% White, 0.67% African American, 0.11% Native American, 0.22% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.11% from other races, and 1.69% from two or more races. 1.46% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
