Walter Stampfli

Walter Stampfli (December 3, 1884 - October 11, 1965) was a Swiss politician.

He was elected to the Federal Council of Switzerland on July 18, 1940 and handed over office on December 31, 1947. He was affiliated to the Free Democratic Party. During his office time he held the Department of Economic Affairs[?].

He was president of Switzerland in 1944.
