Vision On

Vision On was a British television programme, shown from 1964 to 1977, that presented art for children. It was designed to appeal to deaf as well as hearing viewers. The presenter was Tony Hart, who was assisted at various times by Ben Benison[?], Pat Keysell[?], Sylvester McCoy, Colin Bennett[?] and Wilf Makepeace Lunn[?].

The animated modelling-clay character Morph[?] was so successful that he gained his own TV series, and his creators went on to form the Aardman Animations company.

The title Vision On was a reference to the illuminated sign above the recording studio at the BBC, which showed when the cameras were rolling.
