Vilya

In J. R. R. Tolkien's Middle-earth, Vilya, the Ring of of Air, was the mightiest of the three Rings of Power made by the Elves of Eregion. It was one of the Rings that was hidden from Sauron after it was revealed that he desired to rule over all the Elves. Vilya originally belonged to Gil-galad, but he gave it to Elrond to keep in Rivendell. There it remained with Elrond until the end of the Third Age, when Elrond went over the Sea with the rest of the Ringbearers.

Vilya was also called the Ring of Sapphire, and was made of gold with a great blue stone. Vilya could never be corrupted because it had never been touched by Sauron; it had been forged by Celebrimbor, the greatest elven-smith of Eregion. It could have been subject to the One Ring, however, if the One Ring had come to the hand of Sauron instead of being destroyed in Mount Doom since it was a ring of power. With the destruction of the One Ring, the power of Vilya and the other Rings of Power faded.

The other Rings of Power made by the Elves were Nenya and Narya.
