Ventricular fibrillation

Ventricular fibrillation is a cardiac[?] condition when the chambers of the heart lose coordination in their contractions.

A prolonged period will cause the blood pressure of the victim to collapse, cutting off blood circulation in the body which is fatal.

This condition can be reversed with the use of a defibrillator.
