Vasoconstrictor

A vasoconstrictor is any drug that acts to constrict blood vessels. Many vasoconstrictors act on specific receptors, such as vasopressin receptors or adrenoreceptors. Vasoconstrictors are used to increase blood pressure or to reduce local blood flow.
