Vallon-Pont-d'Arc

Vallon-Pont-d'Arc is a town in the south of France, in the département of Ardèche.

It features the Pont d'Arc, a limestone natural bridge carved out by the river Ardèche[?].

The castle has become the town hall and houses some priceless Aubusson tapestries[?].

Near this town, a network of caves were discovered on January 18, 1995 that contained paintings and engravings that are estimated to be 17,000 to 20,000 years old.
