Valentino Rossi (born
16 February 1976) is the current
motorcycle Motogp[?] champion. Rossi started racing in Grand Prix's in
1996 for
Aprilia in the 125
cc category and won his first world championship the following year. He then moved up to the 250cc world championship and he won the championship in
1999.
Rossi then moved to
Honda and then won the 500cc class in
2001. He then repeated the success in the new Motogp class in
2002.
Rossi lives in
London. He is famous for his outgoing behaviour and his intense rivalry with fellow Motogp rider,
Max Biaggi[?].
