User:Salt28

As with the rest of Wikipedia this page is also under construction. Although the rest of Wikipedia has progressed quite some....... Maybe this page should too......

Because of the Natural Point Of View Policy of Wikipedia, I'll have to give you an objective point of view of myself.

salt28 is one of the greatest men to ever grace the planet. Why those Swedes haven't given him a nobel prize is a great unsolved mystery.

One of the greatest crimes ever commited was when salt28 signed up at Wikipedia and got the username 'Salt28'. One day this issue shall be resolved.

Since this page was edited twice in the last 5 minutes to correct spelling/grammer mistakes one might conclude his English abilities lack a special quality. The truth is his keyboard is a bit slow and can't correctly read the input.

My motive for being here

I'm young, 17, and as a young person I still have idealistic views. Sure by the time I'm 30 this cruel world will have destroyed all my ideals and turn me into a bitter pessimistic cynic, but now I'm young and restless ^_^
So what are my ideals you may ask. Well for one i believe information should be open.So I am a supporter of opensource software and open-information projects, like wikipedia.
I have opinions on stuff.I don't want to force people to have my opinions, but I do want them to be available for those that are interested. So I will be using wikipedia to contain my opinions.Do note that i'm not here to bias wikipedia or anything and i will try to be neutral when writing, but I will make sure my views on things aren't ignored in articles and I will mostly write articles about things I have views on.I will try to include other opinions on those subjects, but I don't guarantee that since I don't know everyones opinion on everything. If I miss a view I trust the community will add it since I won't take that responsibilty, but that doesn't mean I will censor those opinions that aren't mine. So some things you can expect me to write about would be:

  • Suriname, my country.
  • Open and free speech; altough i guess this is already overrepresented here.
  • Democracy/'Laissez faire'ism;I'm all for this
  • Communism;In general i'm for this
  • Facism; I despise it
  • Idealism/Utopism; I'm allowed to dream.
  • IMHO Great music artists, music styles, music events, misc. music stuff like:
    • Marvin Gaye, artist
    • Bob Marley, artist
    • Kassav', artist
    • Zouk, music style
    • Reggae, music style
    • Suripop, music event

I also have a christian liberistic enviromentalist view on things, so I will make sure those views aren't underrepresented.I leave it to non-christian non-enviromentalist non-liberels to make sure my views aren't overrepresented.(Not that I'll purposely try to make wikipedia christian liberistic enviromentalist).

A Little Philosophy

Reading the previous paragraph most people, for some reason, think “Oh he's christian” and persume I'm stupid, close-minded and conservist.
Why non-christians think like that is beyond me, especially when they have no problem with such things as Cellular Automata, the idea that time is relative and even that time doesn't exsist as some pseudoscientists think. Those things are respectivly unlikely theories, ungrasped concepts(everybody believes it, most people don't understand it, for the record I do understand it, I'm good at physics) and crackpot theories.
Good christan norms are often seen as stupid people stuff, while such things as yoga, weed and sex with multiple partners of both sexes as enlightend people stuff.Go figure. No I don't want to be an 'enlighted' person, which usually means atheistic facist enviromentalist anarchist and weed-smoking.
I believe a great person needs to have a solid philosophy of life and has to only alter his philosophy if the evidence against a certain view of his is overwhelming AND only if there will be a substitute view that he has faith in and to go back to his previous or another view if the new view doesn't work for him. Also I think a person should only go in search of a new view if a current view isn't working right or doesn't feel right. You see all great people(Aristotle, Genghis Kahn, Julius Ceaser, Queen Victoria of England, George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King, Einstein, Tony Blair and even some bad people, who were great like Hitler and Stalin) have/had a clear vision and view of life. And so-called open-minded people who believe everything is relative or wrong usually seem to lead meaningless lives(A meaningless life is technically impossible, but you know what I mean).
I'm not a great person, but I strife to be.I have views, sometimes popular, sometimes unpopular, sometimes politically correct, sometimes politically incorrect, sometimes logical, sometimes seemingly illogical.I live my life based on my views on life and am not interested in changing them or accepting other views. When i loose trust in a view of mine i'll use my reasoning powers to find a new one.
I probably like or don't like your views.I'll respect them, but not neccesarily accept them.

Oh and if you have anything to say, be that positive or negative, be my guest on this page, under the first horizontal line.

Hello there, welcome to the 'pedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If you need any questions answered about the project then check out Wikipedia:Help or drop me a line. BTW, my gramar ain't that much gooder then urs. :) Cheers! --maveric149

Wow, it's kinda cool that maveric149 dropped me a line, since he is the only user which 'stood out' from the rest.I don't know if he's one of the big dudes around here or just an extreme wikipediaholic, but it's kinda special that he dropped me a line.
p.s. the reason he 'stood out' is because he, like me, seems to dislike capitalization of his name, i think, i don't actually know that much of him.
I have a feeling I'll feel right at home here.
