User:Eclecticology

The name says it all.

Areas of significant participation:

  • Library of Congress classification
    • Breakdown of letter sub-classes done
    • Further breakdowns to be done as and when I feel the need
  • Astrology and Parapsychology
    • This is a subject area which requires very cautious consideration. I personally believe that there is a limited validity to these subjects, but that validity cannot be pinned down as easily as the proponents would like. I can be as critical of "scientists" who dismiss these matters out of hand as pseudo-scientific, as I am of adherents who make wild predictions.
  • Academy Awards
    • From time to time I've been adding material to the various categories;
  • languages and their ISO 639 classification
    • Indo-European
      • Slavic, Romance - done
      • Germanic - in the queue
      • Albanian, Armenian, Baltic, Celtic, Greek - in the queue
      • Indic and Iranian branches - not likely, very long project beyond my capacity
    • non-Indo-European - some possibilities
