USS Wyoming

One ship of the United States Navy have been named USS Wyoming in honor of the valley in eastern Pennsylvania that runs along the Susquehanna River. Three others have been named in honor of the 44th state.

The first USS Wyoming[?] operated on the California coast during the American Civil War.

The second USS Wyoming (BM-10), a Arkansas-class monitor[?], was later renamed Cheyanne.

The third USS Wyoming (BB-32) was the lead ship of her class[?] of battleship.

The fourth USS Wyoming (SSBN-742)[?] was a Ohio-class submarine.
