University of California, San Diego

The University of California, San Diego (or UCSD) is one of the University of California campuses. It is located in La Jolla, California.

The school's sports teams are called the Tritons. They participate in the NCAA's Division II and in the California Collegiate Athletics Association[?].

UCSD excels in the sciences and engineering, helped along by a strong local biotechnology sector, though it is strong in all disciplines. It includes the Scripps Institution of Oceanography and the San Diego Supercomputer Center[?].
