Ulvophyceae
A group of green algae, distinguished mainly on the basis of ultrastructural morphology. The sea lettuce, Ulva[?], belongs here. They are divided into the following groups:
- Order Ulotrichales[?] (e.g. Ulothrix)
- Order Ulvales[?] (e.g. Ulva)
- Order Siphonocladales[?]
- Order Dasycladales[?]
- Order Caulerpales[?]
