Ullin is a village located in Pulaski County, Illinois. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 779.

Geography Ullin is located at 37°16'40" North, 89°10'54" West (37.277861, -89.181533)1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 7.4 km² (2.9 mi²). 7.4 km² (2.9 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 779 people, 247 households, and 145 families residing in the village. The population density is 105.2/km² (272.1/mi²). There are 273 housing units at an average density of 36.9/km² (95.3/mi²). The racial makeup of the village is 57.25% White, 31.84% African American, 0.00% Native American, 7.57% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.51% from other races, and 2.82% from two or more races. 5.91% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 247 households out of which 30.8% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 37.2% are married couples living together, 15.8% have a female householder with no husband present, and 40.9% are non-families. 38.9% of all households are made up of individuals and 27.1% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.21 and the average family size is 2.97.

In the village the population is spread out with 24.1% under the age of 18, 10.5% from 18 to 24, 32.6% from 25 to 44, 17.3% from 45 to 64, and 15.4% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 36 years. For every 100 females there are 129.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 139.3 males.

The median income for a household in the village is $20,000, and the median income for a family is $31,979. Males have a median income of $29,049 versus $21,607 for females. The per capita income for the village is $12,789. 16.8% of the population and 9.8% of families are below the poverty line. Out of the total people living in poverty, 11.6% are under the age of 18 and 25.4% are 65 or older.
