Trent and Mersey Canal

The Trent and Mersey Canal is a canal in the north west of England, linking the River Trent to the River Mersey. A special feature on the canal is the Anderton Boat Lift[?], the only boat lift in the United Kingdom and the first ever to be built in the world.
