Treaty of Aix-la-Chapelle, the end to King George's War, 1744-1748.

King George II of Great Britain was much involved in the struggle in Europe known as the War of the Austrian Succession. The Treaty of Aix-la-Chapelle ended the war and gave back to Britain and France the territory each side had lost in the war.
