Tienen

Tienen is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Flemish Brabant. The municipality comprises the city of Tienen proper and the towns of Bost[?], Goetsenhoven[?], Hakendover[?], Kumtich[?], Oorbeek[?], Oplinter[?], Sint-Margriete-Houtem[?] and Vissenaken[?]. On January 1st, 2000 Tienen had a total population of 31,479 (15,246 males and 16,233 females). The total area is 72.84 km² which gives a population density of 432.17 inhabitants per km².
