Thomas I of Savoy

Thomas I (b. 1178 - d. 1233) was Count of Savoy from 1189 - 1233.

He married:

  1. Beatrice of Geneva
  2. Margaret of Faucigny (?) (what is it in English?), d. 1258 and had 10 children:
  1. Amedeo
  2. Humbert, d. between March and November 1223
  3. Aymon, d. August 30, 1237, Lord of Chablais[?]
  4. William, Bishop of Valence (the Valence in France?, Spain ? or somewhere else?) and Dean of Vienne
  5. Tommaso
  6. Beatrice, d. 1265 or 1266, married in December 1219 to Raymond Berenguer V of Provence[?]
  7. Pietro
  8. Bonifacio
  9. Filippo
  10. Margaret (Marguerite in Italian), d. 1273, married in 1218 to Hartman the Old, d. 1264, Count of Kyburg[?]
