The Wonderful Wizard of Oz
The Wonderful Wizard of Oz is a children's story[?] written by L. Frank Baum. It was first published in 1900. The story chronicles the adventures of a girl named Dorothy in the land of Oz.
Since the copyright expired in 1956, some publishers have produced the book under other titles such as The Wizard of Oz (e.g. Puffin Classics, ISBN 0-14-035001-2).
The book was made into a movie in 1939, featuring Judy Garland as Dorothy.
