The Wind

The Wind is a 1928 film in which a woman from the East moves to East Texas and must live with the constant blowing wind, sand, and brutal men. It stars Lillian Gish, Lars Hanson[?], Montagu Love[?] and Dorothy Cumming[?].

The movie was adapted by Frances Marion[?] from the novel by Dorothy Scarborough[?]. It was directed by Victor Sjöström[?] and has been deemed "culturally significant" by the United States Library of Congress and selected for preservation in the National Film Registry.
