The Wild Thornberrys

The Wild Thornberrys is an animated television series produced by Nickelodeon, which follows the adventures of the fictional Thornberry family, and particularly of Eliza Thornberry, who can talk to animals.

Nigel and Marianne Thornberry (voiced by Tim Curry and Jodi Carlisle[?]) travel around the world with their family making wildlife documentaries. They have three children: Debbie (Danielle Harris[?]), a typical teenager who longs for a normal suburban life; Eliza (Lacey Chabert[?]), a tomboy who (unbeknownst to her family) gained the ability to speak with animals after an encounter with an African shaman; and Donnie (Flea), a feral boy who was raised by apes before the Thornberrys adopted him. Also travelling with them is a chimpanzee called Darwin.
