The Vines

The Vines are an Australian garage rock band that emerged along with a new breed of alternative rockers (like the Strokes and the White Stripes) in 2001. After releasing "Factory" in their native land, the Vines signed to Heavenly Records[?] and recorded "Highly Evolved". The single earned them more critical hype as they toured the United States and released the debut LP, Highly Evolved.
