Since then, the National Theatre was opened in 1976. In between is the National Film Theatre[?] (NFT). Adjacent to the NT is the London Weekend Television (LWT) building where the long-running television Arts programme The South Bank Show[?] is produced.
Adjacent to the west side of the RFH is the large ferris wheel built to celebrate the Millennium, the London Eye.
Further east is the Tate Modern gallery. Past that on Bankside is the reproduction of Shakespeare's Globe Theatre.
