The Long Voyage Home

The Long Voyage Home is a 1940 film which tells the story of the crew and passengers aboard a doomed freighter. It stars John Wayne, Thomas Mitchell[?], Ian Hunter, Barry Fitzgerald, Wilfrid Lawson[?], John Qualen[?], Mildred Natwick[?] and Ward Bond[?].

The film was adapted by Dudley Nichols[?] from the play by Eugene O'Neill. It was directed by John Ford.

The movie was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture.
