The Jackson Five

Redirected from The Jackson 5

The Jackson Five was a group of singing brothers from Gary, Indiana. They were Jackie[?] (1951), Tito[?] (1953), Jermaine[?] (1954), Marlon[?] (1957) and Michael (1958). Their father Joe Jackson was their manager.

Initially signed to Motown, they popularized a style known as "bubblegum soul". The group signed with Epic in 1977 under the name The Jacksons (because Motown owned the rights to the name Jackson Five).
