The Cover Girls

The Cover Girls were a New York City-based latin freestyle pop trio, the brainchild of music promoter Sal Abbatiello[?]. The membership changed frequently during the group's career, which began with several minor hits in 1987 (see 1987 in music). The title track to their debut, We Can't Go Wrong[?], was their first national hit. They were never able to follow-up with another hit, though, and the original members were eventually gone, and replaced with an entirely new trio.
