The Bob Newhart Show was a popular television sitcom in the 1970s which starred Bob Newhart as Robert Hartley, a Chicago psychiatrist. Other characters in the show included his wife Suzanne played by Suzanne Plesette[?], his neighbor Howard Borden played by Bill Daily[?], his coworkers and his patients.
