The Atomic Cafe

The Atomic Café is a documentary film made entirely out of found footage which various agencies of the U.S. government made about the safety of nuclear radiation (e.g., telling troops at one point that it's safe to be irradiated as long as they keep their eyes and mouths shut).

The movie was made during five-year period by Jayne Loader[?], Kevin Rafferty[?], and Pierce Rafferty[?] and released in 1982.

The movie features no narration and is entierly made of historical clips and shows how absurd the idea of nuclear war was and is. It instantly became a cult classic.
