Teiji Takagi

Teiji Takagi (貞治 高木 April 21, 1875 - February 28, 1960) is a Japanese mathematician.

He was born in Gifu, Japan. After graduating from Tokyo University, he studied in Germany. His work in algebraic number theory was important both from the point of view of proving results in class field theory, and in introducing contemporary mathematics in Japan.
