Tampere University of Technology

Tampere University of Technology (Finnish: Tampereen Teknillinen Yliopisto) is big university that co-operates with many different companies (like Nokia), and is located in Hervanta, a suburb of Tampere, Finland.

One of subjects taught is information technology. Many others are available (see homepage for further details). It has recently changed its Finnish name from TTKK (Tampereen Teknillinen Korkeakoulu) to TTY (Tampereen Teknillinen Yliopisto) so that the Finnish name would be closer to the English name.
