Talk:Discrimination abilities of pigeons

I'm thinking that the title of this article needs work. Perhaps Discrimination abilities of pigeons or at the VERY least correct the grammar to Pigeons' discrimination abilities[?]. --Dante Alighieri 23:48 May 14, 2003 (UTC)

That's assuming the whole darn thing doesn't belong in the pigeon article. --Dante Alighieri 23:48 May 14, 2003 (UTC)

Probably better seperate, but yes, the title ain't good. There is lots more that could be added about pigeon behaviour, they are one of the most studied birds, and very interesting. Tannin

Oops, yes the title sucks. Is "Discrimination abilities of pigeons" the best one? Or "Discriminating abilities..."? These are preferred over "Pigeons' discrimination/discriminating abilities"? AxelBoldt 00:50 May 15, 2003 (UTC)

Why should it be separate? There's plenty of room in Pigeon, and that's where people will look for behavioral studies. I also note that this page is an orphan.--Eloquence 01:36 May 15, 2003 (UTC)

The topic has less to do with pigeons and more to do with classification and concepts in cognitive science. Of course we'll have links from pigeon and Picasso etc. once it's under the proper title. AxelBoldt
