The T-64, a Soviet medium tank, was introduced in the late 1960s. It is a parallell design to the T-72 and is very similar in appearance. Unlike the T-72 it was only used by the Soviet Army and not exported.
The T-64 first entered production in 1967 and compared to the older T-55 and T-62 tanks had an autoloader[?] and more advanced armour.
