Symbian OS

Symbian OS is a family of operating systems, with associated libraries, user interface frameworks and reference implementations of common tools, produced by Symbian.

Symbian OS is available in various forms for hand-held devices with different form factors: clam-shell or tablet, keyboard and/or pen, PDA or mobile phone, etc.

All current Symbian OS platforms derive more or less closely from release 5 of the EPOC operating system.

2001 the Nokia 9210 Communicator[?] phone used the Symbian OS.
