Swiss National Accident Insurance Fund

The Swiss National Accident Insurance Fund is a state owned insurer providing compulsory insurance for certain categories of employees[?] in case of accidents in Switzerland.

It's known as Suva or CNA, the abbreviations of its name in German (Schweizerische Unfallversicherungsanstalt) or French (Caisse nationale suisse d'assurance en cas d'accidents). The full name in Italian is Istituto nazionale svizzero di assicurazione contro gli infortuni.

Suva is headquartered in Lucerne.
