Summertime

Summertime is a 1955 film which tells the story of an American woman who falls in love in Italy. It stars Katharine Hepburn, Rossano Brazzi[?], Isa Miranda[?] and Darren McGavin[?].

The movie was adapted by H.E. Bates, David Lean and Donald Ogden Stewart[?] (uncredited) from the play The Time of the Cuckoo by Arthur Laurents. It was directed by Lean.

It was nominated for Academy Awards for Best Actress in a Leading Role (Katharine Hepburn) and Best Director.
