Sudden Fear

Sudden Fear is a 1952 film noir which tells the story of an actor who attempts to seduce a female film director in order to prove to her that he can play a romantic lead. It stars Joan Crawford, Jack Palance[?], Gloria Grahame[?], Bruce Bennett[?], Virginia Huston[?] and Mike Connors[?].

The movie was adapted by Lenore J. Coffee[?] and Robert Smith[?] from the novel by Edna Sherry[?]. It was directed by David Miller[?].

It was nominated for Academy Awards for Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Jack Palance), Best Actress in a Leading Role (Joan Crawford), Best Cinematography, Black-and-White and Best Costume Design, Black-and-White.
