Suck My Disco

Suck My Disco is the third album by Washington, D.C. based artist Easter Bradford. The title is a sarcastic nod to his failed debut album (heavily electronica/dance influenced) as well as the proverbial middle-finger to those who illegally distributed copies of his unreleased second album. The album was produced by Briggs Mackland for Beatnick Blanket Records. It is much more subdued than his first or second, with a more folk and alternative rock sound. The track listing is:
1.The Fumes of Burning Bridges
2.Suck My Disco
3.Exchange of Hearts
4.Accidential Taoist
5.Empty Bottles
6.Mirrorball Mullet
7.Theif by Default
8.Straight to the Moon
9.Music For Lawnmowing
10.A World Saved in Coffeeshops
HIDDEN TRACK - Gypsy

Sample Lyrics

"Accidental Taoist"

Hail to devotion, hail to the divine/ Hail to spirits that forever entwine/ Hail to the people who believe that this is thine/ Hail to these beliefs that clearly aren't mine.../

"The Fumes of Burning Bridges"

(Chorus) Soon the fumes of burning bridges will smother you down/ As the history of your trysting breaks the balance without a sound/ You should watch where you're standing or your landing will taint the ground/ There's no one left for you now.../

"Straight to the Moon"

You got lucky walking 'cross a crowded room/ When their cameras went from wide to zoom/ And caught you in the act (well now)/ "You've got somethin', somethin' we can really use/ If we can get you on the evenin' news/ And spruce up the facts/ You'll go straight to the moon/ Planting your seed and then watching it bloom/"

"Exchange of Hearts"

I misfired a bullet from a mad gun/ Boomeranged into oblivion/ Words can be so cruel (When they're true)/ Don't fight baby, I can be your back bone/ Prove again to all my love is strong/ Can't we try just to have an exchange of hearts?/

"Empty Bottles"

I knew right away the potential they had/ First I just needed to fill them with something/ Anything, really/ To replace the emptiness of which you have such abundance/ That you gifted me with the surplus/ So generous

"A World Saved in Coffeeshops"

You say "I've been having panic attacks since I was 10 years old"/ I say "Maybe it's just the nervous system's way of takin hold"/ You say "I had a dream about you before we'd even met"/ I say "I don't think I know you well enough to hear your esoteric shit yet"/
